Meet the Team
Dr. Richardson
Dr. Becca Richardson grew up in the small west Texas town of Andrews and received a B.S in Animal Science from Angelo State University before graduating from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017.
Before opening Tejas Mobile Veterinary Services, she spent 6 years in mixed animal practice in the hill country and south Texas and even volunteered with World Vets treating animals in underserved areas of Tanzania and Brazil.
She enjoys working with all species but has a particular fondness for small ruminants. Her favorite part of home-based service is the relationships that are created with her patients and their people.
Lucas MArquez
Lucas also grew up in Andrews, Texas and went on to attend West Texas A&M University on a Track Scholarship. He received a B.A. in Business Management and worked in the oil and gas industry for many years. He began his career in vet med when he married Dr. Richardson in 2023. He runs everything behind the scenes for TMVS including bookkeeping, inventory management, and vehicle maintenance, and you may occasionally see him out on calls with Dr R.
